Position: Vice-Rector for Strategy Development of MAI, Vice Chair of JACPersonal Profile：Alexander Shemyakov, PhD, is the Vice-Rector for Strategy Development of Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University). He also serves as the Academic Secretary of MAI's Academic Council and as an associate professor at Department 402: Radio and Control Systems, Information Transmission, and Information Security.

Dr. Shemyakov earned his PhD degree in 2013 with a dissertation focusing on systematic approaches to protecting educational institutions' automated information systems.

His research portfolio includes more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications addressing information security policy, vulnerability analysis of automated university systems, forecasting of science and technology development, and others.
