Personal Profile：Andrey Ivanov, DSc, serves as Vice-Rector for Research at Moscow Aviation Institute. Within the university structure, he also holds a professorship at Department 203: Propulsion Design and Engineering. Prior to joining MAI, he accumulated extensive industry experience as Deputy Chief Designer at NPO Energomash, a prominent rocket engine manufacturer.

The scientific interests of Prof. Ivanov focus on four key areas: the development of composite and nanostructured materials (including aluminum powder-based composites and polymer hydrogels), aircraft engine design (mathematical modeling of turboprop engines, analysis of turbopump assembly dynamics, and study of liquid rocket engine seals), renewable energy, and aerospace safety issues.
