Personal Profile：Dmitriy Strelets, PhD, is the Director of the Aircraft Engineering School and an associate professor at Department 101: Design and Certification of Aviation Technology.

His research focuses on: aerodynamics and fluid dynamics — numerical simulation of multiphase flows, supersonic regimes, and acoustic phenomena based on Navier-Stokes equations; digital twins and CALS technologies — creating unified information environments for aircraft lifecycle management, virtual testing, and production automation; aircraft systems design and optimization — aerodynamic optimization of aircraft configurations, modeling fuel and electrical systems, and fatigue strength analysis; mechanics of composite structures — studying load-bearing capacity of damaged composite panels, diagnostics methods, and dynamic deformation analysis; and certification and safety — applying mathematical modeling to assess emergency scenarios and substantiate virtual testing requirements.
