Personal Profile：Vyacheslav Yakimenko, PhD, is the head of MAI’s Software Department and an associate professor with Department 704: Aircraft Information and Control Systems.

His research focuses on intelligent navigation and control systems for aircraft. Key areas are: integrated navigation systems — improving inertial navigation accuracy using MEMS sensors, adaptive data processing algorithms, and error compensation during GNSS outages; neural network modeling of human-machine systems — developing individually-adapted "pilot-aircraft" models using radial basis function networks and analyzing pilot control actions via simulation facilities; UAV control; GNSS signal simulation — high-precision modeling of onboard receivers and hardware-software complexes for positioning and timing; and educational digitalization.
